IH&RA´s 42nd Annual Congress Comes to a Close in China

More than 400 international hospitality industry leaders from around the world attended the 42nd Congress of the IH&RA that took placer in China´s Beijing from October 28 to 30 at the Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center.

IH&RA rolled out its largest meeting ever at this 2005 Congress which included a lecture program with industry leaders who debated the hottest issues impacting today´s hotel and restaurant industry.

The Beijing Tourism Group (BTG) hosted an elegant Opening Ceremony at China´s historic Beijing Hotel on 28 October. The Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Center delighted Congress delegates by recreating a “Beijing Street Scene” to feature the IH&RA Environmental Awards Ceremony

The final black-tie gala dinner at the Kempinski, sponsored by Gung Dong Hotel Management Holdings Limited and Hotel Modernization China, served the perfect setting to announce the 2006 IH&RA President and induct leading industry figures.
