Jamaica Trumpets Big Names at Annual Jazz & Blues Festival

Diana Ross will lead the star-studded lineup at the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival at the Rose Hall Resort & Country Club in Montego Bay, January 24 through January 26, 2008.

Ross will be joined by Anita Baker, Billy Ocean, Hugh Masekela, Beres Hammond, Marjorie Whylie, Ryan Shaw and Yerba Buena.

Jamaica’s Director of Tourism, Basil Smith, said that the festival “is one of the most anticipated events on our calendar and an ideal way to kick off the new year.”

Festival packages will be available in various price ranges. New York-based Alken Tours, for instance, offers three-night packages that range from $331 per person, double, at the El Greco Hotel to $535 at Rose Hall Resort & Country Club, both in Montego Bay.
