Jamaica, Worldwide Group Travel Create Honeymoon Expo
The Jamaica Tourist Board and Worldwide Group Travel will present the Jamaica Destination Weddings & Honeymoon Exposition on Sunday, March 29, at the Holiday Inn Westbury in Carle Place, N.Y. Jamaica offers value and accessibility when planning a destination wedding or honeymoon.
The event will highlight Jamaica’s lush natural beauty, beaches, golf-courses, and resorts for weddings and honeymoons. The expo is designed to educate and entice travelers from the Tri-State area, raising awareness of Jamaica’s best properties, eco-friendly attractions and activities.
The Jamaica Tourist Board partnered with Worldwide Group Travel as the Exclusive Sponsor of the event, the first of its kind in the Tri-State area. The Jamaica Tourist Board joins Gold Level Exhibitors Sandals All-Inclusive Resorts, Half Moon Resort, Air Jamaica and Caribbean Bride Magazine.
Attendees will be entertained by the JAMX Reggae Band; complimentary Jamaican cuisine; and a fabulous Bridal Fashion Extravaganza where the latest trends in bridal gowns, bridal party attire and resort wear will be showcased. One lucky bride will leave with an amazing Grand Prize of a Destination Wedding in Jamaica, including airfare.
Brides, their fiancés and bridesmaids will want to spend an afternoon at the Expo, visiting suppliers of wedding-related vendors such as traveling photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, favor and invitation vendors, and a Web designer who will help brides create personalized Web sites.
In addition to the many wedding related services, couples can also explore options for honeymoon resorts and activities. The Expo is expected to attract not only those planning destination weddings and honeymoons but also those people within the Tri-State area who are interested in planning a family reunion, a group trip or vacation.
