JetBlue, Marriott Team Up to Help Haiti Reforestation

Travelers flying JetBlue from Boston, Fort Lauderdale or New York to Haiti and staying at the Marriott Port-au-Prince through Aug. 29 will be charged a flat rate of $125 per room, per night plus $1 per person for breakfast.

The price is a discount of $23 on the breakfast buffet and the lowest room rate offered at the Marriott. The $125 rate does not include the 10 percent government room tax. The booking window runs until Aug. 29; travel must be completed by Aug. 31.

Each dollar of the $23 saved will be donated to MUCI, a Haitian organization that sponsors the planting of one tree for every $1 donated as part of Haiti’s reforestation campaign.
