Key international events in Havana this month

Havana._ The Cuban capital is hosting the 33rd Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of International Fairs of America (AFIDA) and the 6th Ibero-American Congress on Fairs, this month.

According to sources from the organizing committee, both events will be held at Havana´s International Conference Center, under the auspices of the Union of Ibero-American Fairs, among other organizations.

The working agenda includes lectures by renowned experts from Latin America, Spain and Portugal, and exchanges of experiences about the development of fairs and exhibitions in today´s world.

The AFIDA is an autonomous institution that groups and represents the main companies in charge of organizing and holding major fairs in the continent. It was founded in 1969 to promote and coordinate activities, and standardize the American ferial system through a guild.
