The National Business Travel Association (NBTA) and the Brazilian Business Travel Association (ABGEV) welcomed more than 800 attendees to this week’s Latin American Corporate Travel & Technology Exchange (LACTTE) in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

LACTTE, the leading corporate travel event in Latin America, draws attendees from Brazil, the United States, and throughout Latin America. The event, now in its third year, has grown each year, and the number of attendees at LACTTE 2008 is 20 percent greater than last year.

Discussions were focused on important travel management topics such as payment solutions, online booking, and service level agreements. Attendees were actively engaged in the 15 educational sessions being offered. They were interacting with more than 25 companies exhibiting in the major sponsors’ area or the Trade & Technology Exchange Showcase.

They were hearing from industry and thought leaders in four general sessions, and they were networking with each other at evening events. The entire program was designed to facilitate the advancement of the growing Latin American corporate travel industry.
