The prestigious layout, the only one on the island situated next to the sea, has long been a favorite golfing destination, and its continued tie-up with Zafiro maintains its reputation as Mallorca’s premier course.

Club de Golf Alcanadais situated just 3.5 kilometers from the Zafiro Palace hotel, which is located just 800 meters from the beautiful town of Alcudia in the north of island and is only 300 meters from the golden beach and crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.

There is a €30 (£25) single supplement per person per night.

Alcudia – the oldest town on the island – is steeped in history and contains the most important archeological remains from the Roman era in Mallorca, which can be found within the medieval castle walls.

Club de Golf Alcanada’s 7,108-yard, Robert Trent Jones Jr-designed course has won an array of awards since opening 14 years ago, including being named best golf course in Europe by visitors to 1golf.eu for six years in a row.

Opened in October 2003, it sits in a breathtaking location overlooking the Bay of Alcudia and takes its name from an island with a lighthouse, situated just offshore, which can be seen from most of the holes.
