Massive Turnout Expected to Attend Third ITB Congress Market Trends & Innovations
Messe Berlin is expecting over 6,000 trade visitors from all over the world at the third ITB Congress Market Trends & Innovations (MTI) which takes place from March 8 to 12 next year.
Due to the interest that has been shown in this congress, which is being held on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds at the same time as the International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin, it has been extended and will now run for the whole five days of the ITB Berlin.
The event, known in the past as the Travel Technology Congress, will evolve further in March 2006 as the TRAVDEX ITB.
Messe Berlin has been successful in acquiring the services of a leading international consultancy, PhoCusWright Inc. from the US, as its partner for this new and demanding format.
A number of leading personalities from the international hotel trade have announced their intention of participating, including the head of Accor, Andrι Witschi, Jorgen Fischer from Hilton, Markus Lewe from Marriott and Bernold O. Schröder from Banyan Tree. These events will be chaired by well known journalists specializing in business and other areas.
