Meliá Varadero Opens Japanese Restaurant
The craving for Japanese food is now a dream come true at the Meliá Varadero Hotel. The five-star resort –a classic lodging in Cuba’s most famous beach- has just opened Sakura, a restaurant decked out with ambience, scents and tastes hailing from the Asian nation.
Nestled in the bottom floor, this gastronomic place offers such services as a sushi bar, live cooking on hot plates made of tepanyaki, and a wine and beverage menu thoroughly handpicked.
The addition of the Sakura enhances cuisine offers at the Meliá Varadero, a hotel that also boasts a steakhouse (Las Reses), a gourmet-oriented restaurant (Fuerteventura) and a bistro that dishes out Mexican food (Los Agaves).
The all-inclusive Meliá Varadero, a top choice for meetings, events, weddings, honeymoons and golf trips, has also announced the upcoming opening of The Level, a brand-new exclusive spot designed for those who come looking for an upper notch in terms of luxury and sophistication.
