Mexico to Flaunt Huge Pavilion at the Millennium World Expo in Japan

Mexico will knock together a magnificent 10,548-square-foot pavilion –the biggest among all Latin American countries- for the World Exposition in Aichi, Japan, Mexican Tourism Minister Rodolfo Elizondo revealed this week.

Interweaving Diversities is the moniker of the Mexican Pavilion that will put the Aztec nation’s natural assets, millenary culture and possibilities in terms of projects and investments before the eyes of the whole wide world.

The World Exposition, scheduled to take place from March 25 to September 25 in Japan, has summoned 125 countries to bring their own in the field of sustainable development.

The pavilion’s outlay was designed by Mexican architect Francisco Lopez Guerra, winner of the Luis Barragan Medal, alongside a group of museum experts and curators.

Japanese officials –Mr. Elizondo went on to explain- are expecting to see as many as fifteen million visitors walking past the turnstiles at the Aichi 2005 Universal Expo.
