Mexico`s World Tourism Expo gets media hype
The World Tourism Exposition scheduled for Mexico City from Sept. 24 to 27, garnered significant media hype at the Cuban Tourism Convention. The exhibit’s general coordinator Wendy Hesketh laid out the details of the event that hopes to gather representatives from over two dozen countries from the Americas.
The fair will take place at the Banamex Center in the Federal District and will be organized by Mece Frankfurt, a major fair and tradeshow planner.
The event is to be attended by reps of the leisure industry, airlines, hotel chains, ground transportation means, cruise companies, entertainment, theme parks, freelance tour operators, specialized publications, institutions, entities and service providers from the sector.
The Mexico Fair will provide a perfect setting to cut deals in a straightforward way, get information updates and keep posted on the latest industry developments.
Mexico, as both a country and the host nation to this huge event, stands for a foremost international market and the gateway to an endless array of destinations in the region. These elements –experts believe- will clinch the success of the World Tourism Expo in which attendants will take a firsthand look at the region’s potentials as far as tourism is concerned.
