World renowned mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim who is currently featured on the popular “Iron Chef America” culinary television show, will be the big name at this year’s Food and Rum Festival in St. Lucia, scheduled for November 1 to 4, 2007.

He will be featured along with Ian Burrell from the United Kingdom who recently hosted the first Rum festival in London, England and who was the headline mixologist at last year’s first St. Lucia Food & Rum Festival.

On November 3 and 4, these international mixologists will give lectures on today’s trends in the bar industry and give visitors demonstrations and samples of their creations at the Rum Village in Rodney Bay.

A Rum Village will be created in the Coco Cabana location where all participating rum companies will have booths for visitors to sample a variety of fine Caribbean rums, and where Master Chefs will demonstrate some of their classic dishes for visitors.
