Nearly one hundred workers from different entities are committed to this task, so it can be fulfilled within the framework of the 500th anniversary of the foundation of this village and the 62nd of the assault to Moncada barrack, in July.
So far, the works included building 15 picnic thatch-roofed ranches, one central Cuban-style guarapera, 16 kiosks specialized in such drinks as eastern pru, juices, light food and candies, ice-cream parlor and two restaurants shaped like an airplane and a train.
Ramon Melgares, director of 26 de Julio Basic Unit, explained that they decided to name it this way because it’s a great thing what they are doing for teenagers, children, parents and grandparents to have a good time and enjoy nature.
“There works are very organized”, he said, “we received the resources on time and that’s the reason why we can now see the results of engineering designs of the House of Coffee, Cuban Toy Ranch, a smart hall with digital games and a train for 40 children to travel around the country in their imagination.
Also included in the plan we have the baseball field, areas for board games, basketball course, bio-healthy gyms, and everything is going to be backed up by a system of buses, or guarandingas, from Ferreiro Avenue in the city.
Moreover, the project includes one swimming pool, the restoration of the fountain for children and the creation of areas for Guiñol Theater with clowns and other attractions”, Melgares detailed.
Rolando Gata, head of maintenance at the facility, announced that the Dreams Parks counts on 19 machines from the Amusement Park, which underwent a capital reparation process.
