Paraguay gets set for international tourism fair

Paraguay’s 2004 International Tourism Fair will gather representatives of both public and private institutions from state members of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR is the acronym in Spanish).

Authorities have not circled an exact date for the tradeshow, the first of its kind ever to be held in Paraguay, sources close to the event’s organizing committee said in Asuncion.

The country’s Tourism Department will be in charge of planning the whole fair from top to toe aimed at advertising different travel attractions around the country and grabbing a few headlines as a top incentive destination.
