Piñero Group to Build New Luxury Bahia Principe Hotel in Aruba
The Piñero Group will give a new boost to the expansion of its hotel business with the construction of a resort on the Caribbean island Aruba, right to the south of the Dominican Republic and north of Venezuela.
The new hotel of the Palma de Mallorca-based company is set to open doors in summertime 2016 and it will meet the highest luxury and exclusiveness standards of the Luxury Bahia Principe Baby Beach Don Pablo Collection brand.
That was the agreement inked by the Aruban government and the Piñero Group during a public act that was headed by the Vice-minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, Mike de Meza, Tourism Minister, Otmar Oduber, and the president of the multinational Spanish travel company, Pablo Piñero. Oduber pointed out the importance of this deal to his country, as it will have a notable impact in the economy and job creation.
“It’s a very positive action to our country, since it contributes to the economic development of the area and, therefore, the whole country”. De Meza y Odiber recently visited some of the Bahia Principe hotels in the Dominican Republic, where they confirmed the high quality of the investing model of Piñero Group’s hotel division.
Luxury Bahia Principe Baby Beach Don Pablo Collection is going to have 950 rooms, most of which will be Junior Suites (908) and Suites (42). The facility will include the Pueblo Principe leisure complex, with theater, casino, specialized restaurants, gym, spa, sport spaces, all in all, the entire complementary offer that defines the quality of Bahia Principe hotel chain. The company has also planned to deliver specialized services to such specific segments as weddings, MICE and family.
The new resort is going to be perched in the coastline of Seroe Colorado, at the southern San Nicolas region, which features the most paradisiac beaches of the world, with white sands and bathed by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. The hotel complex is precisely named after Baby Beach, one of the most gorgeous beaches of the world.
Aruba is a secluded island in the Caribbean Sea and belongs to the kingdom of Netherlands (Holland), its economy is based on the travel industry, the main source of income for the people that live on the island (1 million), and it counts on virgin coast and interior spaces where visitors can enjoy nature.
The Piñero Group’s Bahia Principe hotel chain is present in the Dominican Republic, where it leads the tourism facility market, in Riviera Maya (Mexico), Jamaica and Spain (both Canary and Balearic Islands). Bahia Principe hotels are annually given numerous international quality awards.
