Though the 25th edition of Spain´s International Tourism Fair is still five months away, its organizers are mapping out a hands-on promotional campaign in an effort to target unexplored markets.

Scheduled for January 26 through 30, 2005 at the Juan Carlos I Fairgrounds in Madrid, FITUR planners have already cranked up a far-reaching promotional blitz in Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.

With a view to bring in a larger amount of exhibitors, next year´s FITUR will unveil the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, the most representative tourism tradeshow for the Middle East and North Africa.

A similar presentation came to pass last September 2 in India as the country hosted the Pacific Asia Travel Association Fair.

Before Spain´s FITUR comes around in January, there´ll be other major fairs around the world during the remaining of 2004. Argentina´s FIT, Brazil´s ABAV and the London World Travel Market are some of the oncoming highlights.
