Selected incentive travel, congress and events buyers from the USA, Europe and Latin America will get together with Latin and North American exhibitors.

During five days, Cartagena de Indias received the visit of GSAR Marketing’s representatives, owners of the rights of MITM Americas, Meetings and Incentive Trade Market to be held in Cartagena’s Convention Center next November 23 to 25.

MITM executives made an inspection trip to Cartagena sites such as The Castle of San Felipe, The Popa’s Convent, the Congress Center and various plazas and hotels to be used by MITM, the most important corporate tourism-related event in all Latin America. MITM executives expressed satisfaction of Cartagena de Indias hotel infrastructure, available events services and historical and cultural patrimony.

In this fair, the only one of its kind in the Americas, destinations and tourist services from the whole continent are promoted and sold to incentive travel users and congress and convention organizers from North America, Europe, Mexico and Brazil.

The making of MITM in Cartagena was obtained thanks to the labor done by the Corporación Turismo Cartagena de Indias that since 2005 did the first approaches for the acquisition of this event in the city in FITUR in Spain, which was closed in MITM in Salvador Bahia in Brazil and the ITB in Berlin in 2007.
