Puerto Rico’s Royal Isabela Joins Destination Hotels

Destination Hotels has taken over management of the Royal Isabela, a golf resort on Puerto Rico's northwest coast. It is Destination Hotels' first Caribbean property.
The Royal Isabela features 20 casitas, each of which is about 1,500 square feet, and sits on 2,000 acres of oceanfront property. The resort has a golf course that sits on a cliff about 200 feet above the sea as well as an organic farm and nursery with more than 20,000 native plants and trees.
Brothers Stanley and Charles Pasarell and Edwin Perez opened the property in 2012. It is about 70 miles west of San Juan.
