Qatar Exhibitors Gearing Up for World Tourism Exhibition
The World Travel Market (WTM) 2008 will be held in London from November 10 to 13.
Some 6,000 exhibitors from over 200 countries including Qatar have confirmed participation at the travel industry’s biggest event, the organizers said. Besides a summit of tourism ministers, a world responsible tourism day and travel agents day will be held during the WTM.
WTM Global Economic Forum is another highlight of the four-day event in London.
A full range of educational programs focusing on key industry sectors within the travel and tourism industry including technology, airlines, responsible tourism, global trends forecast, spa, health and wellness, cruise, PR and communications and ancillary markets have been developed to offer participants excellent insights and learning.
New for WTM 2008, The WTM Global Economic Forum will take an in-depth look at the economic outlook for the travel and tourism industry moving forward into 2009-10.
Chaired by retired broadcaster and economics journalist Peter Hobday, a longstanding presenter on the BBC4 radio programs ‘Today’ and ‘Newsnight’, the panel of key economic experts will provide valuable insight for the tourism industry into the state of the world economy.
