Record Rebooking for EIBTM 2008

Following the success of EIBTM 2007, a record number of exhibitors have rebooked their stands for this year’s event in Barcelona at the Fira Gran Via from 2nd-4th December 2008.

A substantial number have also secured extra space, highlighting the event’s reputation in the international meetings industry calendar and confirming EIBTM as a leading business platform.

One such example is from Turkish Culture & Tourism taking an extra 140 square meters, while the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has confirmed an extra 127 square meters, increasing their stand space by over 30 percent.

Munich, following its first ever participation at EIBTM last year with stand-alone representation, has already anticipated increased interest by expanding its stand size by 25 percent.

Other exhibitors increasing their stand size include Peru, Croatia, Taiwan, Australia, India, Fairmont Hotels, Exotissimo, Kempinski, Husa, Hungary, HRS, Warwick Hotels, Turisme de Cataluyna and Barcelo Hotels and Resorts.
