Barbara Cadet, Ronald ‘Boo’ Hinkson, Kalbas and Cable and Wireless Diamond Steel Orchestra will be performing at the Fond d’Or Jazz in St. Lucia on Saturday. The foreign musicians down to perform at that venue include Fuego Latino out of Trinidad and Tobago, and Tambou Combo from Haiti.

Boo has always been a staple at Fond d’Or Jazz and patrons are looking forward to world class performances from him as well as from the other performers. Though Fuego Latino specializes in Latin music, the group has been able to add Bolero, Latin Jazz, Merengue, R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, Salsa, Soca and Venezuelan Folk to its repertoire.

The group Tambou Combo began their career as teenagers in 1968 as Los Incognitos and after four decades, they are still revving it up with their big band sounds. Their infectious and indigenous rhythms has rocked audiences from Japan to Panama, Paris to Miami and this is not the first time they will be entertaining the St Lucian crowd.

The main sponsors of the Fond d’Or Jazz are Cable and Wireless and St Lucia Tourist Board as the Title Sponsors whilst First National Bank, The Wave and Daher Broadcasting Service are Gold Sponsors. The Fond d’Or Nature and Historical Park in Dennery will be the venue for the Fond d’Or Jazz.
