Sandals to Build Third Antigua Property

Sandals Resorts International confirmed that it will acquire the Halcyon Cove Hotel in Dickenson Bay, Antigua when the lease now held by Rex Resorts is terminated within the next 60 days.

The hotel will be demolished and Sandals plans to build a 250-room hotel adjacent to its existing Sandals Grande Antigua, according to the Jamaica Observer.

The new resort is in addition to Beaches Antigua, a conversion of the former Grand Pineapple resort at Long Bay in 2016.
