Sun Village Hotel Presents Second Edition of the Dominican International Film Festival

Renowned actors Vin Diesel, Judge Reinhold, Ronny Hawkins, Luc Picard and Anthony Anderson have confirmed their participation in the second version of the Dominican International Film Festival, opening today at the Sun Village hotel in Cofresi, Puerto Plata.

During a press conference at the hotel, Sales director Carmen Rosa de Torres affirmed this year’s festival is to be a grand event for the region, where 26 English-language movies, 8 Spanish-language, 5 documentaries and 7 short films will be presented.

Mrs. de Torres informed that the event will be held at the hotel’s Theater Lounge, which has been totally remodeled, and movies will be shown at the Roma theater, giving the general public better access.

The Festival will come to a close Saturday with closing activities that can be enjoyed with day passes to all hotel premises and amenities.
