TIA’s Pow Wow 2008 Kicked Off in Las Vegas

The Travel Industry Association’s (TIA) 40th Annual International Pow Wow travel trade show kicked off Saturday at the Las Vegas Convention Center. More than 5,000 delegates from more than 70 countries are participating in networking and business appointments with U.S. travel organizations from May 31 through June 4.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and its members are providing exclusive sightseeing tours, evening events, a media marketplace and press brunch, luncheons and other networking opportunities.

TIA’s International Pow Wow is the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and is the largest generator of international travel to the United States. Business meetings between U.S. travel suppliers and international buyers is expected to result in more than $3.5 billion in future travel to the United States.
