Toronto Ready to Celebrate First Ever Caribbean Week
Canada´s Toronto will be able to experience the sights, sounds, colors, culture and unique vacation attributes of the Caribbean with the celebration of Caribbean Week from October 12 through 15, 2006.
Arranged by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), Caribbean Week 2006 features a series of events highlighting the Caribbean vacation experience, food and entertainment.
Organizers expect a massive turnout of tourism officials, mass media organizations, artists, performers, sponsors and strategic partners to converge on Toronto for a week of Caribbean hospitality.
“CTO has been successfully producing Caribbean week for many years in New York”, states Susan Webb who represents the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) in Canada, “and the CTO´s intention is to duplicate its success and continue to keep the Caribbean upper most in the trade and consumer´s travel plans this season.”
“The response to the many events planned has been excellent. We have received commitments from tourist offices, airlines, hotel companies, tour operators and travel agency partners.” Webb continued. “There is limited space still available and we are asking prospect participants to register so that they don´t miss this great opportunity to promote their product to both consumers and travel agents.”
