Tourism transportation broadens its horizons

The city of Havana will host next May the Second Meeting of Tourism Transportation Entities and Experts summoned by TRANSTUR, Cuba’s largest company dealing with tourist ground transportation.

Scheduled from May 2 to 4, the event will spur debates on more than ten different issues ranging from service quality and management to marketing efforts on automotive, railway, air and sea transportation. Other discussions will broach inter-modal transport and its technological, technical and material backup.

Attendants will similarly touch on trademark and make preference trends for this kind of service, insurance, automotive insurance policies and personnel training. These aspects will be presented in master lectures, workshops and posters at the National Hotel, Cuba’s standard-bearing lodging facility.

This year’s edition will equally pursue the goal of strengthening ties among the different tourist destinations and broaden negotiations within the sector.

The event’s turnout will include transporters, creditors and both national and foreign experts with a view to clinch more efficient services and step up the exchange of experiences.

The Second Meeting of Tourist Transportation Entities and Experts will take place prior to the Tourism Convention –also in the month of May- in Varadero Beach.

TRANSTUR Co. provides tourists with fleets of big buses and car rental services –completely replaced for the ongoing high-peak season that stretches from December to April. The company’s largest operations are cloistered in Havana.
