Travel Associations from Argentina, Brazil Keen to Taking Joint Actions
The board of directors of Argentina’s AAAYT and Brazilian ABAV will meet June 4 at the Crowne Plaza Pan American in Buenos Aires with a view to discuss several major issues and assess joint strategies to develop tourism in both nations.
The Argentinean Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism (AAAVYT is the acronym in Spanish) is the country’s main conglomerate of tour operators and travel agents with a membership of over 700 regional companies and chapters nationwide.
For its part, Brazil’s ABAV gathers numerous travel agencies and tour operators from the South American country. Like its Argentine counterpart, ABAV also deals with other service providers and travel-related companies, such as car rentals, hotels, restaurants, congress planners and other professionals in the industry.
