Trinidad & Tobago to host trade and investment event
The Trade and Investment Convention, known by the acronym PROCOMER, will take place in Trinidad & Tobago in late May with a much-anticipated turnout from the Caribbean and Latin America. Some early confirmations are St. Lucia, the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica.
The Costa Rican delegation has forwarded plans to set up an exhibit of numerous items including specimens, foodstuffs, beverages and pet food in an effort to expand its commerce.
Dominicans are also expected to turn up in big numbers with several entrepreneurs, exporters, purchasers and distributors under the sponsorship of Caribbean Exports.
PROCOMER 2003 is a joint project of the Producers Association, the Royal Bank and the Industry and Tourism Development Company, all based in Trinidad & Tobago.
