World Tourism Exposition is just round the corner
Just a few hours away from the official kickoff in Mexico City, the World Tourism Exposition (WTE) is generating huge expectations in the region’s industry for this is the first time ever that wholesalers, retailers, industry offices, airlines, cruise companies and hotel chains are summoned all together.
WTE is penciled in as a great opportunity for buttressing old trade ties and building new business relations that could combine to give tourism a big boost.
The hosting fairground will be no other than Banamex Exposition and Conference Center in Mexico City. Featuring over 16,000 square yards of exhibiting area, organizers are hoping to have no less than 325 major companies split in state-run and private firms, air carriers, hotel chains, ground transportation enterprises, cruises, entertainment companies, theme parks, freelance tour operators, specialized publications, institutional entities, service providers, shared-time companies, technological corporations and other sectors dealing with specialized solutions.
The agenda also includes lectures and seminars dictated by world leading companies linked to the leisure industry, a global pavilion for international companies, another pavilion reserved for Services and Technology, plus an array of simultaneous events.
The WTE is expected to give Mexico’s tourist sector a powerful leg up and pave the way for further development of the local culture.
