
Qantas Airways has revealed it is examining a possible partnership with newly created South American giant LATAM Airlines. The Australian flag-carrier, which currently has a code-sharing agreement with LATAM, is now exploring the potential of a joint venture with the South American airline.

United Airlines will be launching weekly, non-stop service from Newark to St Lucia, the country’s tourist board announced this week. The service will begin on Saturday, July 13, operated on a Boeing 737-800.

Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, announced that its AM Plus Class will provide new benefits and enhanced seat comfort in its more than 40 Boeing 737 aircraft. This new service features an extra 4” (10 cm) of legroom in the first three rows in the Economy Class cabin, with an additional seatback tilt and leather headrests.

Caribbean Airlines cut its schedule of roundtrip flights between Jamaica and North America operated under the Air Jamaica brand, effective April 16. All gateways continue to be served (Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, New York and Toronto) with a reduced number of flights.
