Royal Caribbean International will add a second ship that sails a Cuba itinerary, along with two new Cuba destinations, starting in the summer of 2018.

Both ships will receive upgrades in their public areas and the addition of new features, Costa Cruises said.

Royal Caribbean is set to make its debut in Santiago de Cuba and Cienfuegos along Cuba's southeast coast.

The Symposium included global cruise line executives, government authorities, and participants from local businesses.

The Curacao Ports Authority has opened Tula Pier, the second cruise pier in Curacao.

The Celebrity Cruises president and CEO announced Thursday that her cruise line is filling that void. Celebrity, part of Royal Caribbean Cruises, is building a new 100-passenger vessel to be based permanently in the volcanic archipelago.
