Windstar Cruises president John Delaney wants to help after the recent hurricanes by witnessing, in person, that San Juan and the Caribbean are open for business.

PortMiami surpassed the five million passenger mark in fiscal year 2016-2017 that ended Sept. 30, welcoming more than 5.3 million cruise travelers to Miami, the highest number of cruise guests anywhere.

Victory Cruise Lines will sail this coming Winter and Spring on a series of two-week cruises to Cuba, circumnavigating the island nation and calling on all the major ports in Cuba.

Norwegian Dawn, with a capacity of 2,340 passengers and 1,032 crew members, will dock on the island of St. Croix on three occasions this month, beginning Saturday, November 11th.

Excursions include the chance to learn about the spice production industry in Grenada; snorkel with turtles in Barbados and visit botanical gardens in Martinique.

Most of the nearly 100 destinations in the Caribbean have been fully operational since the storms, and the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) reports that nearly 90 percent of the region is open for business.
