According to The Riviera Maya Times, Princess Cruises Latin American director Ruth Leal announced the Mexican cruise industry saw a 52 percent increase in passenger arrivals and a 42 percent jump in the number of ships visiting the country.

Carnival Cruise Line will offer 17 new aboard in 2019. The five-day Cuba voyages will be the line's first to operate round-trip from Miami and feature a day-long call in Havana as well as stops at popular Caribbean and Bahamian ports

As the only North American luxury cruise line to be granted permission to offer voyages to Cuba, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is adding more visits to the Caribbean island on two itineraries in 2019 and 2020.

Additional Princess Cays enhancements include new shore excursions, refurbished retail and bar areas, shopping, landscape and infrastructure.

Norwegian Cruise Line will sail several longer itineraries to Cuba for a limited time this fall on the Norwegian Sun. It is the first time Norwegian has included Havana on cruise of seven days or more.
