
Broward County’s Port Everglades completely remodeled its sixth cruise terminal in five years with $24 million worth of renovations and upgrades designed for greater efficiency and guest convenience. Cruise Terminal 4 officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that also celebrated Broward 100.

Grenada saw a 29 percent increase in cruise passenger arrivals in 2014, according to new data from the Grenada Tourism Authority. The island received a total of 162 cruise calls and 254,248 cruise passengers last year across ports in Grenada and Carriacou.

Carnival Cruise Lines will soon be permanently dropping the “s” from “Lines,” USA Today reported. Since it first set sail in 1972, the name has been plural, but recently, official company documents present it as singular. However, the transition is not complete.
