Louis Group and Louis Cruises will deploy the 1,452-passenger Cristal to Cuba for the winter 2013/2014 season on a charter arrangement with Toronto-based Cuba Cruise. In an interview with CIN, Pythagoras Nagos, commercial director of Louis Cruises, confirmed 15 Cuba cruises for the 2013/2014 season.

Royal Caribbean's newest ship, the long-awaited Quantum of the Seas, will open for booking May 28 for Crown & Anchor Society loyalty program members, and to the general public on June 4, the line announced. The 4,180-passenger ship will sail from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, N.J.

The St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) and Jay Cashman, Inc of Massachusetts, signed a MoU which SCASPA plans will develop into an EC$83.7 million construction of a second cruise pier at Port Zante which would be able to accommodate two Oasis class cruise ships.
