Reports have it that in December there will be at least 41 accessing Curacao as part of their journey. These ships will bring a total of 72,272 passengers to Curacao and its downtown Willemstad.

Royal Caribbean International is now authorized to carry out wedding ceremonies while at sea. The newly passed Marriage Act from the Commonwealth of the Bahamas means that Royal Caribbean have joined the exclusive ranks of cruise lines that can offer weddings while in international waters.

Norwegian Cruise Line and the Port of Houston Authority said they have reached an agreement for Norwegian to sail seasonally from Houston for three years, totaling 75 calls. Beginning in the fall of 2014, Norwegian Jewel will sail seven-day Western Caribbean cruises.
