Windstar Cruises’ 2011-12 program will feature voyages in the Baltic, the Holy Land, Europe, Costa Rica and the Caribbean as well as a Signature Collection Host Series line-up. The details are included in Windstar’s 2011-12 Voyage Planner, which has cover art by artist Michael Crampton.
Celebrity Cruises has created the “Cruise the Caribbean Sweepstakes” to highlight its Solstice-class ships in the islands this winter. Celebrity will have eight ships representing over 80 percent of its capacity -- including its three newest ships -- sailing the Caribbean this winter.
Passengers booking air with Princess Cruises will be able to shop for and book their own flights, for cruises departing Sept. 1 and beyond. Customers and their travel agents will have access to real-time pricing and flight availability as well as immediate flight confirmation.
Costa Cruises is strengthening its presence in Dubai to develop the Arab cruise market with onboard facilities specifically for Arab passengers and a new branch office in Dubai. Plans were announced jointly between Costa and the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) at a press conference aboard the Costa Deliziosa.
Princess Cruises’ 2011 Alaska program includes 104 departures by six ships sailing on three itineraries during the May-to-September season.
Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will launch River Antoinette, the sister ship to the River Beatrice, in March 2011 on the Rhine River. Using the same décor and design standards as the River Beatrice, the River Antoinette will ship the “Castles Along the Rhine” itinerary.
