
Caribbean ministers of aviation were due to meet in the Eastern Caribbean Island of St. Vincent this week to discuss the worsening airlift problem in the Caribbean, including the drastic reduction of service by American Eagle commuter airlines to tourism-dependent island nations.

Zimbabwe and Zambia will cohost the 20th session of the general assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) from 24-29 August this year in their tourist resort towns of Victoria Falls and Livingstone. The two countries won the bid to host the general assembly at a WTO meeting held in South Korea.
