Over 800 travel buyers have been qualified and confirmed as hosted buyers for the inaugural ITB Asia travel show, October 22 thru 24 in Singapore. Buyers at ITB Asia will conduct business with exhibitors from over 50 countries. All 500 units of booth space in Halls 601-603 at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre have been sold out since July.

The World Travel Market (WTM) 2008 will be held in London from November 10 to 13. Some 6,000 exhibitors from over 200 countries including Qatar have confirmed participation at the travel industry’s biggest event, the organizers said. Besides a summit of tourism ministers, a world responsible tourism day and travel agents day will be held during the WTM.
