The World Travel Market will feature a focus on Spa, Health and Wellness. Working with the British International Spa Association (BISA) and the Spa Research Fellowship, the focus will span all four days of the leading business to business event at ExCeL London (November 12 thru 15).
The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) will explore the evolution of online social networking and its implications for the travel industry in a master class session to be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the 30th annual Caribbean Tourism Conference, held this year in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Some 600 delegates from throughout the tourism industry will gather from October 19 thru 24 under the theme of “The Next Generation: Learning from the Past, Preparing for the Future.”
Since publishing the agendas for the Travel Distribution Summit North America, as many as twenty new speakers have signed up for the event. Air Canada, American Airlines, Walt Disney, Marriott, WestJet and Harrah’s Entertainment are all sending expert representatives, to this unique networking forum, being held on October 9 to 10 in Las Vegas.
The 31st Annual Travel Mart Latin America at the Cartagena de Indias Convention Center, home to the second Travel Mart held in Colombia since 1981 and the first ever held in Cartagena, drew approximately 560 suppliers representing 265 companies and about 300 buyers from 230 companies.
Travel agents and general delegates interested in attending the 30th Annual Caribbean Tourism Conference have until September 29 to avoid late registration fees, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO). The Conference, which runs from October 19 to 24 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, attracts delegates from all sectors of the tourism industry who will gather under the theme of “The Next Generation: Learning From the Past, Preparing for the Future.”
Caribbean tourism ministers and directors travelling to Toronto for Caribbean Week, September 26 thru 30, will interact with their Canadian-based constituents during a Town Hall Meeting coordinated by the Tourism Offices of five member countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
