As part of a long-term development strategy, all twelve of IMEX´s campaigning “New Vision” initiatives have undergone a detailed review over the summer in preparation for the grand opening on the exhibition at Messe Frankfurt on May 30th, 2006. The IMEX New Vision initiative was launched in 2001 with the aim of generating grassroots change within the global incentive travel, meetings and events industry. The New Vision platform allows IMEX and its industry partners to challenge traditional thinking and also to inspire new ideas and focus on the future.
Dive Into Adventure Bonaire 2006 is taking place from June 17 to 24, 2006. Dive Into Adventure Bonaire will focus on scuba diving and the adventure of the sport, while also incorporating increasingly popular eco-adventure activities into the event program. Three Official Dive Into Adventure Bonaire U.S. Tour Operators have been confirmed and Air Jamaica has also been confirmed as the Official Airline of Dive Into Adventure Bonaire 2006.
The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) has set the agenda for its sixth Global Travel & Tourism Summit this year. The annual gathering of the CEO-level group will take place from April 10 to 12 at the Washington Convention Center. This year´s theme, "Open Mind, Open World" conveys the need to encourage cultural exchange, to promote better understanding between nations, and to bolster economies through increased business and leisure travel.
