Panama Tourism minister Jesus Sierra on Friday called the Dominican Republic a Caribbean area reference on tourism management, as evidenced by the growth posted over recent years. His Dominican counterpart Francisco Javier Garcia said he’s willing to help and share his country’s experience with Panama.

The 2014 Excelencias Awards were presented on January 28, within the framework of the International Tourism Fair (FITUR 2015) in Spain. This time around, 32 projects were recognized.
