Spain GTF – Global Tourism Forum is a world tourism event organised with the goal of debating, through analysing the impact and perspectives of tourism on the world economy and on society as a whole, any issues of an economic and global nature that have an influence on the capacity for developing tourism in today’s environment.

The opening ceremony of the 18th Latin American Conference for Tourism Ministers and Businessmen, CIMET will mark the official launch of the workshop, which is intended for promoting the introduction and development of Spanish businesses in Latin American territory.

The 11th edition of the UNWTO Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Tourism will be held within the framework of the upcoming International Travel Fair (FITUR 2015) in Spain’s Madrid.

On Thursday 15 January at 12.30 pm FITUR will host the press conference to present its upcoming staging, where the top representatives of IFEMA and the International Tourism Trade Show will present the novelties due to be staged from 28 January to 1 February at IFEMA. The press conference will be at the IFEMA Press Room.

IFEMA Conventions and Congresses will attend FITUR 2015 with its own stand through which it will promote the spaces and infrastructures of this business unit.

FITURGREEN 2015, the 6th Sustainability and Tourism Forum, jointly organized by the ITH (Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero) and the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) together with FITUR, will be presenting over the three days of the event successful examples of initiatives and projects applied within the sector.
