The Jamaica hotel scene is heating up this winter with a variety of new options for travelers, ranging from dormitory-type cottages to Hyatt's multimillion-dollar makeover of the former Ritz-Carlton and the debut of the Palace Resorts brand in February.

The Melia Nassau Beach hotel is currently in the midst of a $19 million renovation, and the property has now unveiled four new restaurants. Three of the restaurants are located on the hotel’s fourth floor.

 
 
 
 

Following a wide-ranging enhancement program, Sandals Barbados will reopen its doors on January 28th 2015 and will feature a selection of 280 luxury accommodations set within three distinct villages: Ocean Village, Crystal Lagoon Village and Caribbean Village.
