In an exclusive interview Caribbean News Digital, Mr. Warren Salomon aired his views on the many development prospects for Trinidad & Tobago’s travel industry, as well as on the new context for the Caribbean region on the heels of shifting relations between Cuba and the United States.
We sat down his Simon Suarez, President of Asonahores, who gave us details on the improvement of the Dominican Republic’s hotel industry. Mr. Suarez also assessed the challenges and opportunities for the Caribbean within the context of the shifting relations between Cuba and the United States.
Maru Acevedo is the Deputy Director of the Guatemalan Tourism Institute (INGUAT is the Spanish acronym) and she has a Vice-Minister status at international level. Mrs. Acevedo has occupied several positions within the Guatemalan travel industry over the past 25 years, so she’s one of the people included in the tourism history of that country.
A major tradeshow like the International Tourism Fair in Madrid (FITUR) always provides ample opportunities to talk with boldface names in the travel industry on a variety of issues.
