Snowfall in Upper Peninsula of Michigan will bring gusts of cold air. Snow will spread northward from Nebraska into South Dakota, Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and northern Michigan.

The destination's hotels, restaurants, marina and Convention Center are all back in operation, as well as buses, taxis and other ground transport companies.

The Carnival Conquest, on an eight-day cruise from Fort Lauderdale, is at sea today instead of calling in Grand Turk. It plans to return on schedule to Fort Lauderdale on Oct. 4.

The National Hurricane Centre said Tropical Storm Grace, that came to life in the eastern Atlantic Ocean on Saturday, may fall apart before it can threaten people on land.

Travel to the Island is hampered by damage to the Douglas-Charles Airport which remains closed. Repairs are said to be underway but the reopening is unscheduled.
