Sabre

Sabre Hospitality, a division of Sabre Corporation, a leading software and technology provider for the global travel industry, has announced the launch of SynXis Retailing, the latest evolution of its retailing solution. Unveiled at HITEC in Charlotte, USA, SynXis Retailing introduces standalone offers and automated fulfillment powered by Nuvola, making it the most comprehensive retailing solution on the market.

SynXis Retailing now allows hoteliers to sell standalone offers beyond room reservations, enabling the creation of virtual storefronts to expand their catalog and reach a broader audience. This new capability represents a significant leap in innovation, empowering hoteliers to generate additional revenue by selling experiences, services, and goods independently of room bookings. Scott Wilson, President of Sabre Hospitality, emphasized the enhanced traveler experience through personalized and relevant offers, ultimately driving higher satisfaction and revenue.

Additionally, Sabre Hospitality announced the integration of automated fulfillment powered by Nuvola, their task management solution. This integration enables hoteliers to automate the fulfillment of ancillary offers, including ticket creation, scheduling, and notifications, thereby reducing manual management and the risk of errors, ensuring guest satisfaction. Mykola Sheludko, Product Vice President of Sabre Hospitality, highlighted the upcoming features of the integration, which will optimize fulfillment and further expand retailing tools for hoteliers by enabling a marketplace for third-party offers.

The platform's enhanced capabilities are designed to help hoteliers implement successful merchandising strategies, providing a competitive advantage and aligning with the expectations of today’s and future travelers. The SynXis Retailing Recommendation Engine uses predictive analytics powered by machine learning to suggest targeted offers, increasing conversions through tailored recommendations. By offering more relevant ancillaries, hoteliers can achieve higher booking conversions, resulting in greater guest satisfaction, increased revenue, and strategic differentiation from competitors.

Sabre's customers have already seen significant success with SynXis Retailing, achieving an average order value of $300 per ancillary booking in addition to room revenue. Customers upgrading to SynXis Retailing have experienced up to a threefold year-over-year increase in average ancillary revenue. This platform is set to drive substantial ancillary revenue and enhance guest experiences, positioning hoteliers for greater success in a competitive market.
