Sabre, WestJet Expand Distribution Agreement to Include NDC Content

Sabre Corporation and WestJet have expanded their long-term distribution agreement to include New Distribution Capability (NDC) content.

This multi-year renewal ensures that Sabre-connected agencies will continue to access WestJet’s comprehensive content, including future NDC offerings, through Sabre's global distribution system.

This agreement marks a step forward in modern airline retailing, providing travel agencies with richer and more personalized travel options. Once NDC is implemented, agents will be able to book and service WestJet’s NDC offerings via Sabre’s platforms, including Sabre Red 360 and the corporate booking tool GetThere.

John Weatherill, WestJet's Chief Commercial Officer, emphasized the importance of this partnership with Sabre, which will support their distribution of both traditional EDIFACT and new NDC content. Roshan Mendis, Chief Commercial Officer of Sabre Travel Solutions, expressed excitement about continuing to support WestJet’s growth through advanced technology solutions.
