Sirius Aviation AG has announced a historic partnership with Marathon Group Australia, aiming to transform aviation through the development of zero-emission airports and the integration of hydrogen technology.

This innovative collaboration will position Australia as a leader in sustainable aviation by enhancing hydrogen storage, creating sustainable infrastructure, and aligning with the country’s clean energy goals.

The partnership will deploy the Sirius Jet, a hydrogen-powered VTOL aircraft, developed with Designworks (a BMW Group Company), for various applications including cargo transport and air ambulance services, offering low noise and zero emissions.

Key initiatives include the development of hydrogen storage and refueling systems, establishment of zero-emission airports, and launching training programs to advance hydrogen technology expertise. The collaboration will also integrate hydrogen production with renewable energy sources like solar and wind to support Australia’s net zero ambitions by 2050.

This alliance, supported by global partners and industry leaders, marks a significant leap toward a sustainable and interconnected future.
