The British Virgin Islands has plans to reopen to international travel on December 1, according to Andrew Fahie, the country's premier and minister of Finance. Entry requirements and protocols will be announced in coming weeks, Mr. Fahie said.

The reopening announcement coincided with the launch of BVILOVE, the country's new tourism campaign meant to highlight the British Virgin Islands' attractions, history, people and way of life.

The BVI is in Phase 2 of its Restricted Border & Controlled Re-entry Plan, which allows only approved categories of people into the territory, including residents, work permit holders, homeowners, students, teachers, diplomats and medical personnel.
